We see those posters everywhere. You know them. Live, Laugh, Love; Keep Calm and __enter phrase here__; Just Hang In There! (…Okay, Just Hang In There with Cat is a throwback and totally acceptable in my home.) Oh, and those trendy letter felt signs. You know them; they’re in every IG feed.
Remember a time when you decided you’d breastfeed for years, or that you’d wait till your child was going for their Masters before allowing them to watch tv? You were only to feed them purees from vegetables grown in your backyard organic garden. And cloth diapers. Cloth diapers were everywhere.
Raising children is comparable to your first year at college. You’re always fantasizing and striving to impress everyone–the professors, the students, the faculty, your parents even if you deny it. Then the poopsplosion happens.
…what is the difference, really? Luckily, one usually cleans up after themselves a bit better. One usually thanks you with hugs and nose kisses.
