We are Agatha & Christina–two moms that met at a playdate shortly after resigning from our creative marketing jobs. We never expected to find inspiration in the middle of a room full of sticky toys and toddlers–but that’s exactly what happened.
After bonding over stories from shoots and laughing over all of the strange places we’d pumped breastmilk while working (side note: backyard shed and unlocked office won!), we realized that while we love being moms, we also love being creative entrepreneurs and we knew that there had to be a way for us to do both. With that, HabitualMom.com was born. Our hope is to create a space that inspires women from all walks of life to embrace their passions while focusing on family. We release regular features on female entrepreneurs that we love as well as produce our own content with the modern mother in mind.
Curious about each of us? Here are each of our stories—
Agatha has over a decade of experience working as a brand strategist as well as five and a half years of experience working as a tired mother. She, along with her two toddler business associates, spend their days (and many nights!) helping people and small businesses find and tell their stories. Agatha loves working on projects for small businesses within the New Jersey area that are just starting out or are looking to firm up their marketing and brand strategy. Agatha also coaches women around the country on how to start their own home-based businesses. She is one of those “crunchy moms” that makes her own room sprays and soaps and is constantly on the hunt for a great gluten free, dairy free recipe. Find out more about her professional work by visiting agathaasch.com.
Christina has over 10 years of design and creative management experience. In March of 2016, she was accepted into the University of Motherhood and plans to graduate with a focus in Colic and Co-Sleeping. Other interests include playing games (“Chocolate or Poop?” and with her color-blind husband “I Swear This is Not Pink.”), strategic design, and integrated marketing. When she isn’t at a 3-foot tall human’s beck and call, Christina loves to design and collaborate with small businesses, where she can cultivate the growth and creation of a brand’s look and feel while working alongside its owners.
